I am currently a School Library Supervisor for schools basically in the North East region of the country. My office is located at School Library Services, RCLRC, McBean, Couva and falls under Educational Library Services Division,NALIS Within the last eight months, ELSD has undertaken a number of activitites to promote the work of the school libraries.

Roles and responsibilities
- Visit school libraries in the North East Region
- Submit summary of visits for submission on a weekly basis
- Submit full report on visit within a two week period
- Provide telephone and office consultations
- Assist in the creation and revision of policy documents
- Prepare and submit monthly reports
- Provide formal and informal training for school library personnel
- 20 persons per session usually at School Library Services
- on the job as required

- Participate in orientation sessions for new recruits as required
