Overview

Business communication can be thought of as a flexible problem-solving process that can be applied in various kinds of workplace situations. Effective communication takes preparation, practice, and persistence. This micro-course series offers you a space to learn effective communication concepts and skills, before you have to apply them in real-world business environments.


Writing for Success is a free micro open online course (mOOC). In this course, you will learn how the communication process, messages, and audiences are inter-related in business communications, and develop skills, habits, and strategies that support successful writing in various business communication formats and contexts. You will also learn about differences and similarities between key components of communication in written and oral communication.
