How Social Communities Are Changing Online Interaction

This source greatly explains how Social Communities are interacting via the internet. A person can take their interest/hobby on to the internet by meeting others who are also interested in the same thing. The source explains how it doesn't have to be personal, it can include many features like learning new tools, learning about another persons experience and it can benefit people professionally.

Gigablast is a great search web engine that was created in 2000. It uses multiple search engines on the web to maintain its own search engine.

This source explains how Googles new college search feature makes it easier for students. It'll make the search easier by easily highlighting the details like admissions, student profiles, costs, and graduating. It makes it so much easier for students deciding on where to apply or what school would be the best for them.

A lot of people can relate to it since a lot of people don't just use the internet to interact with friends/family but people on the internet also interact online with other who have the same interests as them and I believe society and everyone in this course can relate.

This video greatly explains what copyright is. The gentleman in the video also gives great tips on things that are copyrighted and how we can avoid getting in trouble with things that are copyrighted and wanting to use them.

It's a great browser extension and is good for internet users. It basically is the topic that we discuss and it's a good thing to have since it's better to be safe than sorry.

A great introductory video for kids. It teaches and introduces them to Creative Commons Licensing.

What is Fair Use?

This article helped me better understand what Fair Use was and can also help others understand it better as well. It uses examples like using a piece of someones work to help critique that body of work. It also explains how a parody of someones work is considered Fair Use.

This video was very entertaining and helped me understand Copyright, Fair Use and rights. As a music producer/creator myself, I can say that it's not fun creating something you're proud of but can't release your work to the public because you've used someone else's work that you didn't get rights or permission to.

This article gives great tips and information on how we can all avoid being hacked. It is not fun having your personal information stolen and this article specificalyy states that most hackers want and how we can all be more cautious and what steps to take. This article also gives statistics which is cool to see!

In a recent study from the US Dept of Education, they found that an online education at a collegiate level is as good or better than traditional on-campus learning. Nowadays, most jobs do require simple use and understanding of computers and technology.

This article explains how our future factory jobs can look like. It just shows how advanced our technology is and how it can help us in the work force. This plan can save companies but also can leave humans to do the more difficult tasks for the companies.

This article is best because it relates to the topic the most. Connecting and helping the rural communities in Kenya is a big challenge but using technology to help them learn is a great challenge that also relates to this whole course.

This article shows how great technology is. Scientists created a robot hand that can play the piano. Of course it shows how great technology is but also showed the negatives as well. Although the hand could play the piano it couldn't mimic a human hand that well.

This article helped me understand what Net Neutrality is and why it's important.

Discord is a great application for gamers to communicate. The application is available as a mobile application or on a computer.

Future Learn is a really good website that can help you expand your knowledge on certain topics. It helped me learn more about this course. This course is free and teaches people how to identify cyber security threats and how to prevent attacks.

This article helped me understand this topic a lot better. It explains the difference between a humans needs/wants of technology and how it comes with consequences.

Curiscope has created a t-shirt and mobile app that teaches students about the human body. It's also a great STEM education resource. It's bascially the definition of Anytime, Anywhere because you can wear the t-shirt anywhere and use the mobile app anywhere.

Thunkable.com: Drag and Drop Mobile App Builder

With having access to internet anywhere and everywhere it's easy to download mobile apps. With Thunkable you can easily create your own mobile app for IOS and Apple devices. I find it amazing because they make it seem easy and it looks like a great resource to introduce to students who are interested in the STEM field.

I think Curiscope is best because it literally shows how technology can be used Anytime,Anywhere. I also believe that it relates to the course as well. It gets kids/students to be active with technology but at the same time they are learning and having fun.

Zumi by Robolink Help Kids Learn about AI and Automated Cars

This article is great because it shows that as technology advances we can also teach the younger generation about it as well. Zumi created a robot that teaches kids about AI which will be needed in their future. Zumi's goal is to teach kids about machine learning, artificial intelligence, mapping and navigation, basic robotics, machine vision, decision making and coding.

Solid

Solid is a good new program that allows developers to create their own apps by having true data ownership, moduler design and reusing existing data.

Chill: Robots Won't Take Our Jobs

This article gives insight on how our future could look with more advanced technology. It explains how some of our jobs today can possible be replaced by robots in the next few years. I know some companies today have started using robots but it just makes me think. What happens when these robots fail while taking care of customers? I understand it saves money but it could possibly cause the company to lose money later as well.
