Some thoughts for improving layout of information | 1 | 04:04, 29 March 2015 |
I'm wondering if the information can be presented in a way to better communicate to learners.
- The opening sentences on the preknowledge "read more" page seem very useful for explaining what comes next. I wonder if it would be better to include this intro bit before the obj/prek/skills table, as a way of introduction.
- I like the symmetry of the three "read more" buttons, but I wonder if they are needed for objectives and preknowledge (the bullets for prekn are very similar on both pages). Maybe just a "read more" button for the digital skills section?
Just some thoughts.
Also, I just realized I misunderstood the use of preknowledge in this context. I wonder if it would be better to call it background knowledge, or something like that. However, the other pathways have the same approach.....content followed by challenge, so I think people are expecting that structure. Only difference here is that challenges are bigger and located in their own pathway. Maybe no need to point it out differently here?
