Lost at sea
Setting goals and objectives is one of the main roles of managers. Without clear goals and objectives to attain, an organization would be lost at sea without any kind of direction to follow. Without goals and objectives, it would be impossible for managers to do their jobs efficiently as they could not assign resources or organize them to accomplish specific tasks.
