When you are a teacher you are always in the right place at the right time. There is no wrong time for learning. Teachers learn to grasp the moment. Any time a student is there before you, the possibility is present, the moment is yours.

- Betty B. Anderson

This course was suggested at the NADEOSA Conference in 2008 during an appreciative workshop to explore learning experiences of participants and discover the positive core of effective learning. The workshop involved two-way "appreciative" pair-interviews designed to surface factors associated with great learning experiences. After surfacing factors behind the participants' most positive learning experiences, clustering and classifying them, a curriculum outline for this course was produced (a work in progress). Click on "Planning" above for more background on the workshop. Feel free to join in and help develop this (or variations of it).

NB I just discovered something which is very much what I had in mind at the workshop in 2008. Check this out: Assistant Teacher Programme - K 04:21, 22 January 2009 (UTC).
