Hi, Sandhya. The ability to transform words and ideas into a logo and to interpret a logo into a meaningful concept reflects the level of a person's intellectual sensitivity(aptitude) and sensibility(attitude). Your logo is a brilliant brain work.
It is said that a scholar's duty is to note mistakes in communication(panditalakshanam doshadarshanam) so that they can be avoided.
The typo at the penultimate word: A full stop is smiling :-) invisibly before your name at the end.

I liked the logo design. The copyleft idea is really good. Also, V is for victory and U, the learners. It is victory for the learners in the Small States (that you represented in waves of the sea). Fantastic, in deed. Well done.

Dear Sanjaya, Sorry I haven't been checking my messages. And wanted to verify the offline open office wiki editor to try it out and saw your message. Well, I was looking back at the logo and now somehow I see someone drowning in the sea..and crying out for help.. I think we'll have to rethink the logo..in any case, VUSSC still hasn;t finalised one. Your inputs very much welcome. Sandhya

I too really like the copyleft, and it feels open and inclusive. The gradients from the ocean to land to sky are also really nice. I wonder about the item inside the "U" and what it means...but the 'head' in the V is definitely clear.
