Hi Gladys, Thanks for the welcome message. I've not been to Mexico yet but look forward to one day visiting your amazing country. I also intend to begin learning to speak Spanish over the next 12 months. There are quite a few Mexican musicians that I like including Lila Downs and Los de Abajo. What a background! I'm sure you have choose a life plenty of challenges and great experiences.
I read you are planning an introductory digital photograph course. I will be your first student; I also want to learn more about Linux and Ubuntu, I still use Microsoft desktop apps, day by day less necessary thanks to the availabilty of equivalent or even better web apps.
I'm not fan of band "Los de abajo", but I've known they are great. Lila Downs' music is wonderful. She reminds me another amazing mexican singer: Astrid Hadad. The page is in spanish, but you're smart enough to perceive the nature of this woman.
