I am a Mathematics Teacher at a secondary school. I teach at the Basseterre High School. My students are preparing for the CXC examination.

My Professional Interest

I am interested in using information technology in the teaching learning process.

I am an Assistant Examiner for CXC. I mark Mathematics. The students at Basseterre High School tend to do well in Mathematics.

Mathematics

students in the lower classes of the school find Mathematics to be difficult. Some reasons are:

• lack of parental involvement in the educational activiry of their child
  • negative experiences in the primary school
    • not valuing their education
• not doing their homework

Some reasons children do not value education are:

1. their home environment is deprived of educational materials
   1. look at persons in the society some persons acquire wealth without having completed secondary education
