Student accounts, grades and security

Quizzes

  • short answer questions - manual grading, others are auto-graded
  • can't edit after assigned. Delete quiz and re-assign but will delete any student submissions too
  • share - workaround - co-teacher in other teacher's group and assign quiz there
  • prevent late submission by putting placeholder in grade for students who didn't complete on time - Absent, Excused, N/A - text will not affect gradebook. Numerical score can be entered and will be in grade calculation.
  • student do over - must delete first attempt

? mix auto-grade and manual grade - show student ? immediate answers / feedback > "cheating"
