My Profile
Professional Background
I have been a teacher of German and English since 1980.
Education
I gradutated from Vienna University in 1979.
My Interests
I like reading books, going to the theater and cinema. I enjoy swimming in summer very much. For my work I have to work on the PC quite a lot.
Professional
I have been a teacher at the VBS-HAKIII Schönborngasse since 1980. In 2007 the Fonds der Wiener Kaufmannschaft founded an alumni club called Vienna Business Circle. The alumni are invited to a number of events at their school. On May 27, 2010 we met at our school to celebrate a garden party. Unfortunately, the weather was nasty and we had to stay indoors. Nevertheless, we had a good time and took some nice pictures.
Personal
Family life is very important for me. Therefore, I enjoy being together with my family, celebrating birthdays and other festivals, or just having a good time together.
Nobelprizes in Literature
I intend to start a series of sites on writers, who were awarded the Nobel Prize in Literature. As a start, you can here find a list of all these writers and the years, in which they were awarded the prize. The information will then be given in German.
Photos
Recently, I took Photos of several places.
When I need a photo of a place I have never been to, I usually search for one on Wikimedia Commons.
My Projects

- Visit my Literature Website: Literatur
- Spring Day in Europe is a project I have coordinated for all Austrian schools since the school year 2002/03.
- The Spring Day 2010 Festival in Austria was held on May 21, 2010 at the new House of the European Union.
- Another project I enjoyed very much was a Comenius Project carried out with partner schools from Germany and the Netherlands.
