A Little About Me

Hello,

My name is Nadine Tun and I am a lecturer and Coordinator at the Faculty of Education & Arts at the University of Belize. I'm excited about this workshop. I welcome the opportunity to learn more about technology and at the same time find ways of making the teaching/learning experience more meaningful when I teach and interact with students. I believe that the Faculty of Education & Arts plays a vital role in the development of our country as we work tirelessly to prepare teachers for the classroom.

I have fourteen years teaching experience at the secondary and tertiary levels. My joy is teaching but I love being a student as well. I'm presently enrolled in a doctoral degree program in higher education with Nova South Eastern University, Florida. [1]

My Family

I am thankful for my husband Ismael,my son Dorant, my mom, my two brothers, my sister, and the rest of my extended family, they are the center of my life. I am only where I am today because of the strong support system I have.

Although I have worked on and achieved many of my career goals, family goals, and personal goals, a few fun goals I want to achieve are

• learn to sew
• learn to decorate cake
• learn to speak Spanish (a career goal as well)
