Education
ACADEMIC I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Physics from Pune University in 1974 and graduated with honors. After my B.Sc., I joined Mumbai University for the Masters program and completed it in first class. I started my career as a lecturer in Physics and I have been teaching ever since. I am presently working at V.G. Vaze College as Head of Department of Physics. My keen interest in research prompted me to complete my Ph.D. in Material Science.

I am working as associate professor and head of the department of physics at V G Vaze college, Mulund East, Mumbai 400081. Started teaching physics in 1978 but subsequently diverted my expertise in electronics, computer science and information technology.Started academic counselling for distance learners in 1989 and presently also working as a coordinator of IGNOU study centre 1604.
