My Profile

I am a teacher of English, a poet and a single mom. I have two children, Jai who is five years old and Zailee who is two. I enjoy fishing, reading, movies, intelligent discussions, spending time with my kids, cooking and partying. I enjoy a good bottle of white wine and some good laughs. I love people who are honest.

I am a high school teacher and i have taught at the high school level for 12 years. I have taught

I am presently a student at the University of Belize pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in English. I am to graduate on January 16th 2010.I am also studying to acquire a diploma in Education for which I have one class and internship pending. In the future I hope to pursue a Master's Degree in Creative Writing.

Education I presently hold an Associate's Degree in English from UCB Belmopan Junior College. I am about to complete my Bachelor's Degree in English at the University of Belize.

Personal

I enjoy traveling, meeting new people, exchanging cultural beliefs and fishing. I hope to one day get to visit as much of the world as my pockets can endure.

I wish to publish my first collection of poems and eventually venture into writing short stories and even a novel.

I have published in anthologies before. you may find some of my poems in "She" and "Fears, Fancies and Fatansies". Some of my poems have also been published in The Reporter Newspaper and on BelmopanCityOnline.com.
