My profile
About Feliciana
My name is Feliciana Torres living in Belize Central America. I am the coordinator of the University's Early Childhood Stimulation Center. I also teach Study Skills at the University of Belize. Working with Wiki will assist in developing course content. I look forward to gain more knowledge in distance education and open source content.
I am married and have two daughters. Their names are Saddith and Shajida. Saddith is fifteen and Shajida is twelve.
This coming year, our University will be offering study skills online which is a stepping stone for us and hope that our students welcome this new venture.
My Interests
I am presently doing a Master's Degree in Education with concentration in Early Childhood which I should complete next year if God spares life. I work hard at school and at home in order to raise enough money to pay for my graduate education - an MA, in Education from the University of North Florida. http://www.unf.edu/](graduating in 2009)

About the University of Belize Early Childhood Stimulation Center
U.B.'S Early Childhood Stimulation Center opened its doors on September 26, 2005. It started with six students, and now is has an enrollment of thirty-two students. Their ages range from two to four years.
The goals of the stimulation center is to provide children with hands on activities that will stimulate their learning in an enjoyable manner. learning will take place in a playful and meaningful way. Our aim is to develop the child holistically, that is, physically, emotionally, mentally, socially, and culturally. The children will also receive exceptional care and attention to develop their fine, gross and motor skills.
The school is well fenced and has round the clock security. There is so much space for the children to utilize the kitchen, bedroom, classrooms, picnic area and playground. The following is a schedule of fees, payable before the third day of every month:
- Registration: $25.00 (one time payment)
- Tuition: $150.00 per month (Bz)
- Time: 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m
Parents and prospective parents are welcome to come in and visit our classrooms. They can bring their child to enjoy our facilities.
