Welcome to Summer 2010

  • Updating this page as I take SMED 722 at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA.
  • Here is my revised video for SMED 722. It is a lesson in a logic mini-course designed for high school students.
Introduction to Symbolic Logic 
  • Revising my moodle pages for Algebra 2 Honors.
  • Finishing and defending my thesis for my Masters degree in Mathematics.
  • Becoming proficient in the use of TI-Nspire technology.

The busy summer of 2009

  • This page fulfills a requirement for SMED 720 at Southern University in Baton Rouge, LA.
  • Creating a website: Algebread as part of a webmastering course and a new first unit for Algebra 2.
  • Implementing what I've learned in the weeklong "Engineering Principles in Science and Math Classrooms" that I attended at LSU.
    • Working on a powerpoint to encourage my students to consider engineering careers
  • Converting my blackboard site to moodle
    • For now, this is where I'll put my website (any suggestions for free hosts)
  • Learning podcasting - and now that I understand that, learning to use my new Ipod.
