Tuesday November 04....One of my biggest issues about living in the Caribbean is ANTS. They seem to like computers. And sooner or later I will probably be having to use an on-screen keyboard because they would have eaten my mechanical variety.
Last Sunday saw the Celebration of Louis Hamilton as 2008 Formula One Champion...The youngest champion we've had so far and also the first "black"...(or) his Dad I believe is From the Caribbean Island of Grenada.
Today we await the results of the US elections with baited breath McCain or Obama the first black president (??) The people will decide.

FRIDA KAHLO is a Mexican Painter: [1] I was introduced to her work some years ago in Hammersmith in London UK. A most vital and passionate artist whose work never fails to inspire at the most seminal levels of humanity.
Visiting a story telling course on WikiEducator I was re acquainted with her.
JOAN Miró i FERRA (1893 – 1983) a Spanish (Catalan) painter, sculptor, and ceramist BORN Barcelona. [2] His work interpreted as Surrealist, a sandbox for the subconscious mind, a re-creation of the childlike, and a manifestation of Catalan pride. In numerous interviews dating from the 1930s onwards, Miró expressed contempt for conventional painting methods and his desire to "kill", "murder", or "rape" them in favor of more contemporary means of expression. I simply love his work!

The United States has chosen an African American as its President elect. Truly momentous. His father is from the Luo tribe in Kenya and reported to have had difficult relations with Jomo Kenyatta for his stand against ethnic favoritism. The Kikuyu tribe of which Jomo was a member has dominated politics in Kenya since the Mau Mau days.
