Community Radio

DEEPAK SRINIVASAN

Hello,I'm Deepak Srinivasan, and I'm currently with a media collective called maraa. Maraa is a unique collective based in Bangalore, India and works in areas of media for community.

I'm a theatre activist, media practitioner and researcher. I began my theatre work with children in schools and communities to conduct theatre workshops and facilitate an exploration of self development through this medium of expression. I worked in radio for a bit, and was with worldspace satellite radio developing content and hosting shows for an old hindi film songs channel, Radio farishta.
