I think it's good to have students get involved in extra-curricular activities, therefore there is a need to extend the school day. what do you think?

I really do not agree with lengthening the school's day. In my school and I am sure in other schools teachers are already doing extra curricular activities with kids after 2:30pm and sometimes are there until 7pm at nights after the kids have left. I personally believe such a change will demotivate teachers from going the extra mile as they would be put in a rigid situation now. Telling me I have to stay until a certain time for these activities and me volunteering are two different things. My humble opinion on the matter.

Hi, I am Colonel. I think there is no need to extend the school day because learners need time to complete their home work, work on other tasks and do their contributions at home. What I suggest is that, educators should create "topics on extra curricular" and have learners to work on it at their free time. Later, participants may meet as a club/class to discuss the outcomes and way forward without exerting more preasure on their school life.
