WEB 2.0 AND SOCIAL MEDIA FOR DEVELOPMENT

The web 2.0 training was held at the Botswana College of Agriculture from the 9-13 June 2014.The objective of the training was to impart skills to attendants on the different topics under Web 2.0.the tools and how it can be used for communication,collaboration,networking,receiving and sharing information with each other.
The following topics were discussed: Introduction to Web 2.0 and social media Finding information on the internet-google advanced search Creating alerts and RSS Social bookmarking.
This training will be very helpful to access,disseminate and share information with each other and stakehloders.
