Many thanks!

I'd like to express my sincere gratitude for this recognition and all of the warm comments from those I hold in the highest regard. What I've learned over the years being a part of the WE community, including the importance of promoting open educational resources to those around the world has easily been the most rewarding experience of my professional life. I look forward to seeing what the future holds for this wonderful community as we connectively continue to collaborate, cooperative, and create!

Sincerely, Benjamin Stewart

Honour and recognition

Great idea to show off interesting pages. Emphasize the honor and recognition for a job well done. Encourage everyone to improve, rather than make it a "contest" and "win" --Vtaylor 00:30, 27 June 2008 (UTC)

Yes Vtyalor, WE is all about recognition. There is no rivarly in this. Its only to recognize extra ordinary talent.

It was suggested to have photos be a criterion. I removed that, as that's not compatible with everyone's sense of modesty or privacy.
