As educators, it is our duty to derive teaching methods that would captivate the attention of those being taught, irrespective of their age. I have noted in my own day to day teaching environment that students would give up their snack or lunch break so that they can use the computer. it is my view that online learning is, therefore, one sure way of transmitting information to them since it gives them the opportunity to use a piece of equipment that they are familiar with.
If this workshop was conducted in a classroom setting, the possibility of me attending for the full duration would have been slim.
Heartfelt thanks to all those persons who have made it practicable for so many of us, in different parts of the world, to learn and share our various expertise with each other.

Hi Everyone,
It is already an enlightening experience being part of this community. It's too exciting so I have already told others. One of those persons is already on board. Students today are innately techologically-inclined and seem very dissatisfied/bored with routine classroom settings. My innovative efforts seem futile but I am excited about what might come out of this exercise. I also facilitate an online programme and am learning about the operations. I have aalready gleaned from the facilitators of this workshop.....the way to keep in touch with the students. I know I will learn a lot more.
