I am very interested in IT collaborative platforms and would like to learn how members of our community have used the technology to bring people from different parts of the world to work together on concrete projects/issues. First of all I thank the team of Wiki educator who has taken great efforts in running this workshop... I was wondering if we can adopt some model for teaching Programming to Graduate students. Patricia has demonstrated a simple structured approach of delivering a workshop. Can this model be used for a programming course that has a number of extensive exercises and large number of students who require instantaneous feedback? --Akshay 11:07, 1 October 2009 (UTC)
I have just logged on to Day 8 Tutorial on Discussion Pages and so here I am, starting a new discussion thread. I have been reading about "Liquid Threads". It is exciting to know that WE is the first live wiki environment to implement the LiquidThreads software in the world. I will be leaving comments on other users pages as requested in the tutorial notes.
I am really enjoying the WikiEducator tutorials and I am learning a lot. I love the wiki support video tutorials "How to" section in each tutorial and I have found them really useful as an additional help. --Janet Bianchini 16:02, 2 September 2009 (UTC)

I thought I would experiment with the different skins - moved away from the default and then couldn't see the tabs I needed in the next tutorial the following day! Posted a Help in the Questions sections and got a reply within 5 minutes - What fantastic support.
no worries - i had mine on "simple" and had no access to the editing button bar or the edit tab to edit the info box! laughed myself silly when i realised! now i'm wondering how people see my page when they view it through different skins.
Hello everyone, I admit I skipped 1 or 2 activities (I promise to go back), but I guess this is a wonderful opportunity to express my enthusiasm with WikiEducator!!! Not only is it the best platform for educational purposes, but it is also the ultimate way to share knowledge, edit, polish and refine ideas. I especially liked the option of "vandalising" our user pages and then easily going back to the previous-correct version. Hi there, Not sure I wanted to be first to this page....wasn't sure what to write. I have been lucky in that our school took a mid-term holiday today, which has been great, the sky is blue and the sun is shining and I have been glued to my computer.....I suppose it was my choice. Anyway, I started on day one and here I am several hours later on day 9; it has been pretty addictive. Anyway, I expect you will all catch up pretty quickly as I get bogged back down with day-to-day hum drum tomorrow. I came to this workshop with little idea of Wiki's, I had heard of them but had never used them. I think the potential is HUGE, especially in the education sector where we are all heading in the same direction. I am looking forward to meeting more people in this space. I have already spotted other Moodle lovers!!! Cheers Jacqui
