I still don't know what the difference is between the discussion in my user page and the messages I can read in "my talk" up there, between my name and my preferences.
Sometimes I get a message saying I've got new messages, and another page opens, with lots of messages. First I thought those were all the messages sent by the group. However, they are not so many.
I wonder where this one will appear. Gabriela

Hi Gabriela I am perhaps more of a neophyte than you are, so I hope you don't mind me picking on you to test this interaction/communication tool. i am yet to get any messages so this is a first attempt.

I would be glad to have some clarification on the distinctions between the uses of the 'discussion' on the user page and the 'talk'. is one thraded and the other not, or do you have the same outcomes and it is only a matter of preference. I know that redundancy is a common feature in this learnign environment. Hope this get the 'discussion' or 'talk' going.

I am just trying to communicate with others for todays exercise. I am very impressed but what some of my neighbours have done. For example Bee's page, congratulation Bee, now I know where your name came from! My contribution seems so unprofessional in comparison. This however makes me want to try to get it to work. I am really enjoying the challenge. I feel better to read that others are also finding that it takes more than 15 minutes/lesson. Still trying Nadia

Like you Nadia I am trying to catch up with today's (if not yesterday's activity. I think that I am behind. Anyway, you peaked my interest in Bee's page so I will have a look. Thanks for the heads up.
