I am planning to develop:

I am planning to develop online community platform to negotiate with others in preparing guide book on course designs

John E. Smith 01:35, 15 December 2009 (UTC) I have no definite plan on the content or design of this item yet. Hopefully, as I become more familar with the capabilities and dynamics of the Wiki world, something appropriate will appear to me.

I do want to comment briefly on the Learning Contract concept. This was a new tool to me as I began taking adult education courses as part of a doctoral program. I have several masters degrees and a fair amount of non-degree college-level work, mostly in education-related areas, but had never heard of learning contracts before a few years ago.

If I had been exposed to this tool earlier, I might have done a better job of learning in some of those schools:).

I'm really new to this wiki (I'm used to PBWiki, sorry!). I'll do my best to go ahead the activities required to fullfil this course. Regards from Mexico.

--Don W. Brown, D.Ed. 04:42, 15 December 2009 (UTC) I would like to learn more about using this...I, too have used PBWiki in the past, but this seems more robust. I will be working on space science information that complements the NASA/Jet Propulsion Lab online materials here in the U.S.

INFOSEEK, an Information Literacy program, which I have designed for developing Blended Online Learning Modules. See INFOSEEK, created as a new page in My Sandbox.

I think that is a great idea and I will join you. When do you want to start and with which course?--Katherine Bolman 22:47, 17 December 2009 (UTC)

I would like to create a resource for teachers of English around the world to help them use the internet to enhance both their teaching and student learning. My initial thoughts are that it would be through a series of links by category. I have not fully thought this through, and feel that I am not yet familiar with what all of the options are for creating a learning tool like this. I would love to hear any ideas that any of you have.--Rae Roberts 14:10, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

I'm new to this world of wikis. The reason I joined Wikieducator and Integrating Technology is related to the fact that I am the responsible person for an LMS moddle platform in my school, and therefore I need to get experience with all these communication and online learning systems.

When talking about my Learning Contract Project, some doubts came to me as I also heard of OER ...

The problem is the following: should I do some project on English teaching materials? If so, shall I do the complete lesson or is there any structure in which I would include the lessons I may create? I'm a bit at a loss here, because I have to create a number of lessons to help teachers learn how to work with Word, Excel, Photostory, subtitle films they make, create podcasts and so on, but I do not know if this type of material is correct.

Another aspect is my country's page and it is quite poor maybe because there are only few portuguese people who have enrolled in these courses.

Well, I'd like someone's opinion on this subject as I should have already begun working on something and I haven't... --José Romão 18:28, 16 December 2009 (UTC)

After having saved the above paragraph, I came to the conclusion that I might have asked any of the people who are attending this course if there is any possibility of viewing other Learning Contract Projects done in other workshops, so as to understand the type of resource we are expected to come up with...

I have looked around but I haven't found anything... --José Romão 18:32, 16 December 2009 (UTC) Jose, You can review my page either from the Participants page Katherine Bolman or Have fun and leave me any questions.--Katherine Bolman 22:53, 17 December 2009 (UTC)
