Middle school years play an important role in shaping a student's formative educational experience. It's a time when lasting values, habits, and identities can be formed. It's also a time for students to discover and challenge themselves in ways they may not have imagined possible.

At Island Pacific School (IPS) strong learning partnerships are established between teachers and students at every grade because they are cultivated in a climate of mutual respect. These educational encounters promote scholarship, leadership, citizenship, and self-advocacy. They also prepare our graduates for success in high school and beyond. Empowering young people to take ownership for their learning is a core part of what we do at IPS.
