Add an existing media clip to the timeline (video tab)

Click the Edit this video button in the black video widget above and you will be directed to the WikiEducator Collaborative Video Editor (powered by Kaltura) page.   If you want to add a new photo to the video instead, follow me. read the brief instructions in the dialog box and click the OK button to get started. (You should see one or more thumbnails in the media clips tab that are associated with the above video, a soundtrack area, a video (timeline) tab, and audio (timeline) tab.)   You may need to scroll around to see all of these features if you are working on a small screen. click on the video tab in the bottom third of the window where you will see all the clips that are on the timeline. drag and drop one of the media clips to the right of the last clip in the video tab. click the Save button you will be prompted with a create thumbnail dialog, click the Create thumbnail button   Creating a thumbnail makes a nice splash screen for the video when it is not playing. click the Back to Wiki button and the software will recreate the collaborative video   This process may take some time depending on the size of the video and the speed of your internet connection.

Congratulations, you have just added an existing photo to a collaborative video timeline (video tab) in WikiEducator. You can continue adding photos, videos, or sounds to the timeline or press play to see what it looks like!

Remove an existing media clip from the timeline (video tab)

Drop the media clip once it is over the rectangle to remove it from the movie click the Save button you will be prompted with a create thumbnail dialog, click the Create thumbnail button   Creating a thumbnail makes a nice splash screen for the video when it is not playing. click the Back to Wiki button and the software will recreate the collaborative video   This process may take some time depending on the size of the video and the speed of your internet connection.
