Open Source is great
The manual has been broken up into clear modules for each university. This is well-organised.
The module 6 has been broken up into sections, but we need to refine it clearly.
Each section in the module contains a 'notes section'. This is a good place to insert teaching tips.
The general idea of what the overall training should revolve around is quite clear.

Concern about this old version of Open Office for certification
Cluttered Outlay: The layout and design of this entire module is very cluttered. There are no clearly defined sections and sub-sections. We have to design the content into manageable chunks which allows for easy navigation and use.
There are no clear steps/instructions for user to follow. It is assumed that the learner knows how to use the commands. More screenshots and step-by-step instructions should be given. This is not redundancy, but rather offering the learner a more user-friendly manual. Visual/graphical presentation and clear steps are essential.
The Fontsizes of Headings and Sub-headings should always be consistent throughout the module
Screenshots are either too big or too small and often not legible at all. Standard screenshot sizes should be adhered to for easy use.
The module should consist of an Abstract (which is usually the rationale); broad outcomes for each section and specific outcomes for each sub-section
I suggest a summary after each section. The summary will highlight the benefits of the content for the user in general.
A module should always consist of an Index (Table of Contents); Glossary of terms/commands and Glossary of icons. This is good design and assists the learner to become accustomed to consistent terms/commands and icons.
