Creating Reports

The focus of this section is to develop an introductory understanding of reports. Reports will be built upon existing database tables using the OpenOffice Base reports wizard. Reports are very similar to queries except that when you create a report it is laid out in a printable format (hard copy).

  • Create a report using the report wizard
  • Use a report to retrieve information
  • Identify the difference between static and dynamic reports
  • Delete a report
  • Save and close a report
