We develop a collection of good experiments and give them a try in the classroom.

We buy the book "Hands-on Physics" and see what we can adapt for physics teaching in Uganda.

"I loved that model and would be glad if you could send me a price quotation from the supplier with CIF Entebbe. Though in my case I used an old motor from a fun to illustrate practical motors and for the demo we wound wire and supported them on clip files hinged on a hard board and powered.

The approach in that what you sent looked great but I only followed by looking at the diagrams I wish it was in English." User:Romutujju

Hi Ronald, I'm too busy right now to phone Fa. Eschke still before Christmas, but I can tell you that the cost of one set is about 3.60 Euro, and the shipping some 15 Euro extra. Maybe we could lower the price by telling that we open up a new field of export to Africa!
My experience with the motor is, that it takes a student about 2 hours to assemble it. About 50% of the motors are really running, while the other half does not work for reasons of mistakes in assembling. With help of the teacher, some 80% or sometimes more will be running.
All in all it is a very good experience for those who manage to build it up right, a real high light in physics.
Batteries are not included, tools neither.
