Purpose

To identify and become more familiar with the potential future of a state within the Asia-Pacific region, considering both the challenges and opportunities faced by your chosen state. This e-learning activity requires you to share your findings with your fellow students on the regional futures forum for this activity.

Tasks



  1. Decide which state in the Asia-Pacific region you want to explore for this activity.
  2. Begin your own individual research on your selected state. You should explore and report on the state’s perceived challenges and opportunities in the 21st century. You should consider how the concerns or hopes of the government match those of the state’s people.
  3. Write an individual summary of your findings (500-550 words) with full citation details.

  1. Upload your summary of findings as per Step 3) above onto the assigned Forum on regional futures for this e-learning activity and read other entries that have been uploaded. This should be completed no later than the close (Friday) of Week 15.
  2. Please enter any useful online sources you accessed during this e-learning activity into the Regional Relations Source Repository located on the Study Desk.
  3. The e-moderator will add an overview of the comments after the closing date for submissions.
